Reflections...

During a society outing to University of Nottingham my friend brought us to a secret hideout to have the best meal of home food coupled with this amazing peace and serenity of a view. Lush green trees and vibrant grass accompanied us as we gobbled down our food like hungry wolves. The scenery reminded me of what I left behind, the stand stone walls and citycats, long pointless drives and singing in the car, the best summer barbeques and the tastiest beers around. What I'd give to turn back time and relive every second of it.

And then I came here, Bruce Wayne's manor. A representation of all the things I thought England would be. All my unrealistic expectations encapsulated in one image, the memory of disappointment as I opened my college room came rushing back, the memory of my fascination of the country came flooding back. I swear it was such a little thing but I felt on top of the world looking at the manor glowing beneath the unlit sky.

I still believe in a bright future.
